The Cotton Mill Studio Open House was a success! We had 30 people come by to check out the awesome tower and studio space throughout the evening. It was a great mix of clients and friends. There was delicious food, white wine and craft beer from Denver Beer Company. There was a slideshow of my work projected on to the wall above us. There were tours of the tower built in 1890 – part of the Overland Cotton Mill. There were stories, good conversations and a drawing for special priced photo sessions. A big thanks to all those who helped me with the big event:  Mike Moore, Jim Baldwin, Kate Pfeiffer, Neil Corman, Michael Cleveland, Risa Hayes, Misty Mayhall and Rob Madison. I couldn’t have done it without you. And thank you to everyone who attended. For those who were unable to make it, we’ll do it again. Perhaps next Earth Day, maybe even before. Stay tuned.

Join us at our Studio Open House, Cotton Mill Studio

GreenEarth Photography is celebrating Earth Day with a Studio Open House this Tuesday, April 22. We’re at 1314 W. Evans Avenue, Denver, CO, 80223. Network, mingle and take a tour of the studio tower, built in 1890 as part of Overland Cotton Mill. This building is on the National Register of Historic Places. It was Denver’s only successful cotton mill operating from 1891 to 1903. Then, as a munitions factory during World War II from 1941 to 1945. If you missed it two years ago on the Doors Open Denver tour, now’s your chance to check it out. We’ll have white wine, craft beer and light snacks. If you schedule your next headshot, high-school senior, yoga portrait, newborn or another photo session during the open house, you’ll be entered to win that session at a special price. There’s some incentive to show up. Plus you’ll meet my clients and friends and just have a great time.

Please RSVP by emailing: Katie[at]GreenEarthPhotography.com. We’re tucked away and difficult to find even with your GPS. We’re in the Hercules Industries campus on W. Evans Avenue, just west of Lipan Street. Look for the Hercules sign, drive in and towards the back, past buildings 3 and 4, make a right and park. If you’ll please RSVP, I will send you directions, and I’ll also know how much food and beverages to provide for you. Hope to see you there!
